OBSESSION Monster Truck started touring the show circuits in the Western States in 1997. We Started racing the new truck on January 17, 1998 at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

We started building the truck in 1996. The truck is based on a 1998 Ford F-150 Fiberglass Body now a 2004 super duty extended cab, Patrick Entertainment Frame, Four Link (Chrome Moly Bar) Suspension with 26" Knight Stalker Shocks in front and 30" in the rear. All are bypass and remote reservoir. The axles are F-106 centers (6:20 Ring and Pinion), Clark Planetary Hydraulic Steering front & back by Norwak Co.

The Power plant is a 558 cubic inch 1500 horsepower engine, Enderle Bird Catcher BDS 871 Blower, Howard's Roller Cam, 10:1 Ross Piston, Crower 1/4" Steel Crank, Edelbrock Victor heads from West Coast cylinder heads, custom headers from TTS Power Systems and assembled by Rex Horst. The power goes through an Built Powerglide Transmission Supply by Delgado Racing to a Pro Fab 18" drop transfer case that is bolted to custom drive shafts by Yarman Drive Shafts.

The driving compartment is all business, Beard Seat, Deist 5 point belts and haylon system. Grant Steering wheel, B&M Shifter, Auto Meter gauges, shift lights, Parker fresh air helmet pump and Audiax Remote Ignition Interrupt.
