Line-X Obsession Successful in Fresno , California

TEMECULA , CA – Rick Swanson and his Line-X Obsession competed in three sold-out performances in Fresno , California at the fairgrounds. Friday night the Line-X Obsession was troubled with mechanical problems and got eliminated in the second round of racing, but was able to bounce back in the freestyle competition.

Saturday night was a different story with Rick taking out Maximum Destruction and finishing in second place behind Clear Channel's Hot Wheels truck. Rick was defeated again by Hot Wheels on Sunday.

“We got off to a rough start this weekend, but the overall weekend was a success,” said Rick Swanson. “This year has, by far, been our most successful year in competitionof Friday night with Rick taking one more final round winning over Grave Digger.

Sunday - Sunday afternoon we started qualifying badly when I hit two turning posts and missed the cars with my two left tires.  This gave Grave Digger the fastest qualifying time and I had the slowest.  That put me and Grave Digger in the first round against eachother.  I did it again with Digger out and working my way to the finals and winning against the Power Forward truck owned by NBA super star Karl Malone.

We are looking forward to doing as good this weekend in rounds 7 and 8 for M.O.D. and the Outdoor Channel.
