September Tour

MENIFEE, CA- It is good to be back home after being away for almost a month. On September 7th it started out with a display in Salem Oregon. The next three days were freestyle shows with one show each day in Sublimity Oregon. The Sublimity show is put on by Norm Miller (One of the Blue Thunder Monster Truck drivers). This whole show is set up to raise money for Oregon's charity organizations for children. It is an honor being part of this show knowing you are helping children in need. Photos of this show have been posted on www.monstermayhem.org

Following Sublimity we headed 2,600 miles to Zanesville Ohio having three days to get there. Jeff Jones, Marketing Manager of AmeriGas devoted his time and many miles driving the hauler, in order to make it to the event on time. Arriving on Wednesday we had enough time to wash and prep the truck for Thursday's display. Friday night the Fabtech Obsession muscled its way through straight line racing placing third. In obstacle racing the Fabtech Obsession took first place. It was a driver's course due to the thick mud on the track and dense fog with having to clear a 30 foot double jump. The Fabtech Obsession finished off with one of the best freestyles of the night.

Saturday night in Zanesville the Fabtech Obsession placed second in straight line racing. Once again in Obstacle racing the Fabtech Obsession took first place. This event was one of the best rounds of racing for MOD. The Fabtech Obsession was happy to take home two trophies for this event.

Round 17 and 18 took place in Chillicothe Ohio. The weather was against us. The track was extremely muddy. Friday night the Fabtech Obsession’s front differential broke. We made our pass settling with a fifth place in straight line and forth place in Obstacle. Fighting the Thunderstorms, we replaced the front differential. We want to thank Natural High's team for all their help to get us up and running again. We placed third in both Straight Line and Obstacle racing. We couldn't wait to be back home in sunny California!
